HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to operate the Services, including:

Shopify

Our website and online store are hosted by Shopify. Information submitted through the Services may be collected and processed by Shopify in accordance with Shopify’s privacy practices.

Service Providers

We may disclose information to vendors that provide payment processing, website hosting, cloud storage, email, customer support, analytics, advertising, fraud prevention, accounting, production, fulfillment, delivery, and shipping services.

These providers may include Shopify, payment processors, Google, Meta, shipping carriers, Pirate Ship, and other providers used to operate our business.

Suppliers and Fulfillment Partners

When necessary to fulfill an order, we may share limited order, product, production, or shipping information with apparel suppliers, promotional-product suppliers, production partners, or fulfillment providers.

We disclose only the information reasonably necessary for the applicable service.

When You Direct Us

We may disclose information when you request or authorize us to do so, including when requesting direct shipping or using third-party integrations.

Legal and Safety Purposes

We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, a court order, subpoena, government request, or legal process; investigate suspected fraud or illegal activity; enforce our policies; or protect our rights, customers, business, or others.

Business Transactions

If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

TARGETED ADVERTISING AND DATA SHARING

We do not sell personal information for money.

However, certain uses of advertising cookies or disclosure of identifiers to advertising partners may be considered “selling,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some privacy laws.

Where applicable, you may opt out through the privacy choices or cookie-preference tools provided on our website, by enabling a recognized Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, or by contacting us.

COOKIES

Cookies help our website function and may remember your preferences, maintain your shopping cart, support secure checkout, measure website traffic, and evaluate advertising.

Some cookies are necessary for the website to operate. Other cookies, such as analytics or advertising cookies, may be optional depending on your location.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through the cookie-preference banner on our website. Blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality.

CUSTOMER ARTWORK AND FILES

Artwork, logos, photographs, names, and design files submitted for a quote or order are used to evaluate and produce the requested project.

We may retain project files, proofs, digitized embroidery files, vectorized artwork, and production records for customer service, reorders, recordkeeping, and dispute resolution unless deletion is requested and retention is not otherwise required.

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have permission to submit and authorize the use of any names, photographs, logos, trademarks, copyrighted materials, or other content provided to us.

We do not claim ownership of customer-provided artwork merely because it was submitted for a quote or order.

DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing Services, maintaining production records, supporting reorders, meeting tax and accounting obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and complying with legal requirements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information.

However, no internet transmission, electronic-storage system, or security measure can guarantee complete security. Please do not send sensitive or confidential information through unsecured communication channels.

Customers are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should not share passwords or access information with others.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

A parent or legal guardian may provide a child’s name, photograph, or other information when ordering a personalized product. The customer submitting that information represents that they are authorized to provide and use it for the requested project.

If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, applications, social-media platforms, or services.

We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy, security, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. You should review the privacy policy of any third party before providing personal information.

To submit a privacy request, email hello@thecreativestudio.co. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority before completing the request.

GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL

Where required by applicable law and technically supported, we treat a recognized Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of qualifying targeted advertising, selling, or sharing for the browser or device transmitting the signal.

Other browser “Do Not Track” signals may not be recognized because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to them.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Shopify and other service providers may process or store information in locations outside your state, province, or country.

When required, applicable safeguards may be used for international transfers, including recognized contractual protections.
